New CFO at Pulse

Pulse Energy chief financial officer Shane Sampson is to leave the company next month. Sampson, who joined the firm from Vector in June last year, will be replaced by Rosemary Ferguson who has been filling the deputy CFO role on a consulting basis.
Pulse chief executive Gary Holden says Sampson has been highly effective and was instrumental in many of the operational and financial improvements the company made in the past year.
“Shane’s industry experience and awareness of the complexities of the deregulated electricity market has helped solidify our position as one of the leading independent energy retailers,” Holden says. “Rosemary’s capability and background will allow this foundation to be built on further.”
Ferguson has been working on contract to Pulse since May 2014. Prior to that she was group financial controller at Mighty River Power.
