Promotion Terms and Conditions

Effective: 5 March 2026

1. Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Score $160 Sign-Up Credit + a Shot at 10 Big Giveaways” promotion (the Promotion) run by Pulse Energy Alliance LP (Pulse Energy, we, us, our).

These Terms apply in addition to the Pulse Energy Residential Agreement, which may be amended from time to time and is available at pulseenergy.co.nz/terms. In the event of any inconsistency, these Promotion Terms apply to the Promotion only.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion starts at 9:00am on Monday, 5 March 2026 and ends at 11:59am on Monday, 13 April 2026 (the Promotion Period).
Pulse Energy reserves the right to delay, shorten, extend or otherwise amend the Promotion Period at its discretion

3. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to new residential customers only who:

Successfully sign up for electricity with Pulse Energy during the Promotion Period
Use the promotional code ‘HIGH160’ at the time of sign-up
Complete a successful switch and account activation

Eligibility is subject to satisfactory credit checks, proof of occupancy, and metering checks.

The Promotion is not available to:

Existing Pulse Energy customers
Customers of any Pulse Energy Alliance LP brand who have joined within the last 12 months
Employees of Pulse Energy, associated agencies, or their immediate families

4. How to Enter

To enter the Promotion and be eligible for the prize draw, you must:

Sign up for electricity with Pulse Energy during the Promotion Period
Enter the promotional code ‘HIGH160’ during the online sign-up process or mention it to an agent when signing up by phone or email
Limit of one entry per eligible customer and per supply address

Eligible customers will be automatically entered into the prize draw. No additional entry is required.

5. $160 Joining Credit

Eligible customers will receive a $160 joining credit (including GST) applied to their first Pulse Energy electricity bill.

Conditions:

The credit is available to new residential electricity customers only
The promotional code ‘HIGH160’ must be used at sign-up
The credit will not be applied if you or anyone residing at your property has received a Pulse Energy joining credit within the last 12 months
If you switch away from Pulse Energy or terminate your account within 12 months, the $160 credit will be added to your final bill

The joining credit:

Is not transferable or exchangeable
Cannot be redeemed for cash
Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or credits

Standard residential terms and conditions apply and are available at pulseenergy.co.nz/terms.

Pulse Energy reserves the right to cancel or change this offer at any time.

6. Prize Draws

There are 10 prizes available to be won.

All eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will be included in the prize draw
Winners will be selected by random draw on or about 15 April 2026.
Each winner may receive one prize only. Prizes will be allocated at random to winners.
Entry into the Promotion does not guarantee the winning of a prize.

Prize details, dates and availability are subject to change and are dependent on Highlander's scheduling and availability.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be drawn on or about 15 April 2026 at the offices of Pulse Energy (or another location determined by Pulse Energy).

Winners will be notified by email within 3 business days of the draw
Winners may also be announced via Pulse Energy’s website or social media channels
If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, or does not comply with these Terms, Pulse Energy may redraw that prize
All decisions by Pulse Energy in relation to the Promotion are final and binding

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, credit, or other goods or services.

8. Winner Responsibilities

Events and Experiences

Winners and guests are responsible for all travel and related costs
All venue, ticketing, and event conditions must be complied with failure to attend at the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize

Merchandise

Merchandise prizes will be supplied as determined by Pulse Energy
No warranties are provided in relation to merchandise prizes

Costs Not Included

Unless expressly stated, all other costs (including meals, accommodation, transport, insurance, and personal expenses) are the responsibility of the winner.

9. Conduct and Compliance

Winners and guests must comply with all applicable laws, venue rules, and instructions.

Pulse Energy and the Highlanders reserve the right to refuse participation in any prize element where a winner or guest:

Is not fit to safely participate
Refuses to follow reasonable instructions
Behaves in an unsafe, inappropriate, or unlawful manner

10. Publicity and Privacy

By accepting a prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activity, including the use of their name and image, without additional compensation.

Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with Pulse Energy’s Privacy Policy, available at pulseenergy.co.nz/privacy-policy.

11. General Conditions

Pulse Energy reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms.
Pulse Energy reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or disqualify any entry where it reasonably believes the Promotion is being misused, manipulated, or entered into fraudulently
Pulse Energy is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or incorrectly submitted entries.
Prizes may be substituted with an item of equal or greater value if unavailable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse Energy will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the Promotion or any prize.
