You can help by adding as little as $2 to your bill each month to help support a family in need. We will make sure your contribution goes to a home that needs it the most.
The Pay it Forward Programme was established during the nationwide lockdown in 2020 to support families experiencing energy hardship. It is a joint initiative between Electra Energy and our customers.
Thanks to the generosity of our customers, the Programme has already helped thousands of New Zealanders.

The Pay it Forward Programme supports our customers experiencing energy hardship.
You can contribute as little as $2 per month to the Programme. This will automatically be added to your monthly bill.
Contributions from the Programme are allocated at our discretion to customers experiencing energy hardship.
