Mitch Hunt’s Hummus
Ingredients
- 420 g can chickpeas
- 2 tsp tahini
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp cold water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Method
- Drain the chickpeas and pour them into a food processor or blender.
- Throw in the tahini, cumin seeds, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper and olive oil and switch on the blender.
- Add water while blending to achieve a nice, creamy consistency. Add more water as required.
- Spoon the hummus out of the blender and serve with crackers or toasted pita bread!
